Springdale - Robert Hereford Whitman, 86, resident of Route 4, died Saturday. He was born Sept. 19, 1876, at Summersville, W.V., and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mana Martin Whitman; two sisters, Miss Vina Whitman, Richwood, Va., and Mrs. Myrtie Cutup, Richwood, Va.
Funeral will be at 4 p.m. today in Callison-Sisco Funeral Chapel with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery,
