Finis Duvall, 65, of Atkins died Friday, January 2, 2009, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born September 2, 1943, in Russellville the son of Grady and Bernice Duvall and was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Nina Ruth Duvall. He was a retired Lieutenant of the C.I.D. of the Arkansas State Police, was an Air Force veteran and was a charter member of Saint John's United Methodist Church in Hope, AR. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 5, at Lemley Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Chad Duvall officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial with honors will be at the Atkins Cemetery. The Arkansas State Police honor guard will serve as pallbearers.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Duvall of Russellville; son, John H. Duvall of Russellville; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Michael Stroud of Benton; two brothers, L.B. and wife, Betty Duvall of Morrilton, and Bobby Duvall of Russellville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, L. Murl and J.R. Boren of Atkins, Peggy and Alton Nelson of Atkins; three grandchildren, Ashley Duvall, Dylan Michael Stroud, and Kennedy Grace Stroud.

Margaret "Peggy" Hughey Duvall, 68, of Russellville, went to be with her Lord Thursday, March 20, 2013 at the Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home in Russellville.

She was born September 22, 1944, in Little Rock, the daughter of Margaret and Rife Hughey, Sr. and Nancy Hughey Young.

She was a 1962 graduate of Atkins High School and a 1966 graduate of Arkansas Tech University. Peggy was an elementary school teacher for 31 years. She taught in Atkins, Morrilton, and Hope, Arkansas. She touched the lives of countless children. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family especially her grandchildren. She was the organist for the St. Johns United Methodist Church in Hope, Arkansas and is now a member of Atkins Memorial Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Finis Duvall.

Peggy is survived by a son, John H. Duvall and wife Nancy of Russellville, a daughter, Sarah Stroud and her husband Michael Stroud of Benton, 3 grandchildren, Ashley Duvall, Dylan and Kennedy Stroud; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Sherry Young of Atkins; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Atkins Memorial Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jim Hays and Rev. Chad Duvall officiating. Private burial prior to the service is in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.

Honorary Pallbearers are the Berkemeyer girls; Maryanna, Kathleen, Jo, Pat, Susie and Jalia Lingle.
