Annie Lee Grissom Swafford of Conway, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 6, 2012.
She was born Feb. 1, 1917, to the late Harrison Greenberry and Bessie Rebecca Mahan Bradley at Beryl, Ark.
She was employed at UAMS and Conway Regional Medical Center before retiring. She loved gardening, her family, her flowers and her Lord. She was primitive Baptist faith. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her daughter, Joann Smith of Conway; sons, Sam (Jeannie) Grissom and Jim (Mary) Grissom of Vilonia and Mike (Jeannie) Grissom of Sheridan; 28 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 41 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers; 5 sisters; husband, Johnny Grissom; husband, Ben Swafford; 5 sons; and 5 grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Independent Choices and their staff and care givers, Arkansas Hospice Care and Dr. Hilman and staff.
Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with Brother James Winston and Brother Dickie Harris officiating.
Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials have been suggested to her family.
