Wyle Godbey, aged 57, of Atkins died Saturday. He was a retired construction worker. Survivors are his wife. Geraldine Farish, two sons, Andrew Godbey with the navy in Naples, Italy, and Dibrell Godbey of Atkins; a daughter, Kathy Payton of Dardanelles; two stepsons, Monty Bailey of conway and Owen Bailey of Tokyo, Japan; his mother Ora Godbey of Atkins; three sisters, Marilyn Woodson of Belleville, Dorothy Wiley of Atkins and Joyce Moore of Pine Bluff; a half-brother, Donald Godbey of Tucson, Ari; and two half sisters, Martha Miller and Wanda Carrier, both of Augusta. Funeral will be at 2p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.
