Retired Teacher-Ft.Smith-Mrs.Emily Montague Rollwage of Ft.Smith, formerly of Forrest City, a retired school teacher and the widow of O.W.Rollwage, died Thursday at Ft.Smith. Mrs.Rollwage was a member of the First Methodist Church at Ft.Smith and wrote and published a history of the church. She was a member of the WSCS, the Carnegie Board of Regions, the United Fund Executive Committee, Fortnightly Club, PEO Chapter, Ft.Smith-Van Buren Council of Church Women and the Ft.Smith Poetry Group. She also served on the Women's Board of the Methodist Nursing Home. She taught Sunday school and served as superintendent of the church's primary department for many years. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.Caroline Kelcher of Ft.Smith; two sisters, Mrs.Morris Bannister of New York, and Miss Jean Montague of Ft.Smith, and one grandson. Funeral will be held today at the First Methodist Church here by Fentress Funeral Service. Burial will be in Forrest City cemetery on Sunday by Stevens Funeral Home of Forrest City.
