SILOAM SPRINGS — Lena Mae Rose, 88, of Siloam Springs died July 1, 2004, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born May 20, 1916, in Decatur to Jake and Cecil Owenby Dill. She moved to Siloam Springs in 1973. She was retired from Peterson Farms in Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Rose, on May 8, 1975, and one son, Bobby Dean Dill.
Survivors include two sons, Vernon Hook of Noel, Mo., and Ray Hook of Decatur; two daughters, Mary Hook of Siloam Springs and Irene Barnes of Hutchinson, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; seven sisters, Marie Patterson of Siloam Springs, Lula Florer, Alice Guss and Frances Peterson and Mona Goldman, all of Decatur, Donzella Windmiller of Santa Ana, Calif., and Jewell Lashmett of Lusk, Wyo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Falling Springs Church near Decatur with the Rev. Jack Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Falling Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
