Sharon Sue Cowan, (Aunt Susie), 71, of Jacksonville, died February 3, 2015, at North Metro Hospital. Sharon was born September 13, 1943 in Arkana, AR. She was a long time member of the Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon William and Lillie Ernestine Anderson Cowan; brothers, James G. and Dennis A. Cowan; sisters, Mary Waterman, Geri Southard, Carol and Betty Cowan; and a brother and sister that died at birth. Sharon is survived by three sisters, Beulah E. Phelps, Donna Maynard and Connis Osborne; brother, Tim Cowan; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Interment of ashes will be at Arkana Cemetery by her mother's grave.
A memorial services will be held at Arkana Community Building May 29, 2015 at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Upkeep at Arkana Cemetery.
