TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Matilda Chloe Hawley, 85, of Tahlequah died Nov. 27. 1999, at Grace Living Center/University Nursing Home in Tahlequah.
She was born Jan. 8. 1914, in Wedington to John Chapman and Sallie Hunton Johnson.
She attended the Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Hawley, in March 1999.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn S. Hawley of Tahlequah; one son, John Dale Hawley of Van Buren; two grandchildren, Diana Lynn Milner of Carrollton, Texas and Jacqueline S. Escue of Roanoke, Texas; two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wedington Baptist Church in Wedington, with Leon Gregory officiating.
Burial will be in Wedington Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Henderson, J.D. Johnson, Carl Baker, Lee Reed, Loyd Wayne Hawley and Jim spears.
