Harry Shofner Campbell, 99, of Springdale, died Friday, Jan. 22, at Fort Roots Veterans Hospital, North Little Rock.
He was born March 3, 1893, at Prairie Grove to John Campbell and Mary Shofner Campbell. He was a longtime resident of the Robinson Community and later moved to Springdale. He was a retired farmer, a member of Illinois Masonic Lodge No. 330, a World War II Army veteran and a Methodist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Campbell, in 1983.
Survivors are a son, Harry Campbell of Springdale; a daughter, May Lane Andrews of Gentry; two stepdaughters, Kathleen Darland of Emmett, Idaho, and Evelyn Nace of Agorura, Calif.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 10 a.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel with the Rev. Gary McKee officiating. Burial is to be in Weddington Cemetery under direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
