Harry and Helen (Keller) Allen married 24 Sept 1943. Harry the son of Sidney and Hattie (Huskey) Allen. Helen the daughter of Thomas Albert and Jenny Bell (Kelley) Keller.

SAFFELL Harry Bovay Allen, 82, of Saffell died Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
He was born on May 23, 1925, at Saffell, the son of the late Sidney and Hattie Huskey Allen. He was united in marriage to Helen Keller on Sept. 24, 1943, at Saffell.
Mr. Allen was a lifelong resident of Saffell, retired farmer, woodworker and deacon of Saffell Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Allen of the home; sons, David and Diann Allen of Strawberry and Albert Allen and Sandra Lyons of Batesville; daughters, Judy and Kenny Tidwell of Strawberry and Shirlene and Alan Smith of Smithville; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nephew who was raised in the home, Gerald Gardner of Alvin, Texas; sister, Bernice Clayton of Strawberry; many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Saffell Missionary Baptist Church with Bill Threet officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery near Saffell under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service at Walnut Ridge.
Visitation will be this evening from 5-8 at the church.

SAFFELL — Helen Keller Allen, 87, of Saffell died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014.
Survivors include two sons, David Allen of Saffell and Albert Allen of Cave City; two daughters, Judy Tidwell of Saffell and Shirlene Smith of Jesup; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Saffell Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery located at Dowdy with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the church.
