BENTONVILLE — Roxie Mary Rogers, 92, of Bentonville, Ark., died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at a local nursing home. She was born April 28, 1921, in Bentonville, Ark., the daughter of Benjamin and Cynthia Blevins McCool.

She enjoyed working in her yard. She loved visiting with people when they visited her. She was a member of Word of Life Fellowship for many years. She was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy K. Coberley; two brothers; and four sisters.

Roxie is survived by four sons, Roy R. Rogers Jr. of Rogers, Dick Rogers and his wife, Wanda, of Bentonville, Bill Rogers and his wife, Beverly, of Bentonville, and Tommy Rogers and his wife, Belinda, of Rogers; one brother, RJ McCool and his wife, Maggie, of Noel, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Word of Life Fellowship in Bentonville.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Word of Life Fellowship.

Memorials may be sent to the Blayklie Knapp Fund in care of Word of Life Fellowship.
