Hugh Edward Anderson, 69, of 1409 Harper Avenue, died Tuesday night at a local hospital. A life long resident of Ouachita County, he was a retired district foreman with the Arkansas Highway Department, and a member of Maul Road Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Maul Road Church of Christ, with burial in the Chidester Cemetery by Proctor's. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Bussell Anderson; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Benton of Camden; five sisters, Mrs. Inez Crain, Mrs. Faye Phillips and Mrs. Hester Merritt, all of Camden, Mrs. Floye Burton of Little Rock, and Mrs. Mae Looney of Bastrop, La.; two brothers, Sam Anderson of Smackover, Bill Anderson of Camden, and three grandchildren.
