LINCOLN — Billy Hugh "Buster" Beeks, 82, a resident of Lincoln, passed away Dec. 14, 2013, in Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 20, 1931, at Prairie Grove the son of Hugh Adam and Ortha Lena Kinion Beeks.
Buster was a United States Air Force Veteran from 1951- 1955, and he was a member of the American Legion. He was a member of the Summers Missionary Baptist Church. He was a life member of the Lincoln Riding Club. He loved music and watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Trixie Beeks; one son, Terrell Beeks; and one sister, Donnie Lou Reynolds.
Survivors include one daughter, Raylene Reed and husband Rick and one sister, Betty Bell and husband Larry, all of Prairie Grove; three grandchildren, Tara Orr and husband Bart, Tye McNair and Lauren Standley and husband Landon; five great-grandchildren, Reed Orr, Ryder Orr, Race Orr, Blaykeli McNair, and Brayson McNair.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 - 2 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with Paul Young officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery; no graveside services will be held at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arkansas Alzheimer's Association, 210 N. Walton Blvd. No. 25, Bentonville, AR 72712.

LINCOLN — Trixie Jean Beeks, 78, a resident of Lincoln, Ark., passed away July 4, 2011, at her home in Lincoln. She was born Sept. 13, 1932, at Summers, Ark., the daughter of John Elry and Gladys Shannon West.
Trixie was a member of the Summers Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from Levi Strauss.
She was preceded in death by one son, Terrell Beeks; two brothers, Jim West and John B. West; and one sister, Virginia Osbun.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Buster Beeks of the home; one daughter, Raylene Reed and her husband, Rick, of Prairie Grove, Ark., two brothers, Vol West of Schertz, Texas, and Verl West of Lincoln, Ark., three grandchildren, Tara Orr and husband Bart, Tye McNair and Lauren Reed; five great-grandchildren, Reed Orr, Ryder Orr, Race Orr, Blaykeli McNair and Brayson McNair.
Funeral services will be held today, July 6, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Summers Missionary Baptist Church, Summers, Ark., with Paul Young officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, Prairie Grove, Ark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summers Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 27, Summers, AR 72769; or American Lung Association, P.O. Box 3857, 412 W. Seventh St., Little Rock, AR 72203. Pallbearers will be Gene Cates, Jack Crittenden, Dale Hutchinson, George Schooler, Charlie Washington and Louis Guess.
