PRAIRIE GROVE — G.W. "Geeb" Hodges, 82, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Oct. 4, 2013, at Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born April 16, 1931, in Cove Creek, Ark., the son of Lewis Napoleon and Minnie Lee Quinton Hodges.

He enjoyed listening to and playing bluegrass music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Peggy Mourning Hodges; two daughters, Kathy Salsbury and husband, Gerald, of Alma, and Connie Behl and husband, David, of Prairie Grove; four grandchildren, Whitney Salsbury and Jennifer of Van Buren, Suzzanne Salsbury, also of Van Buren, Amber Barton and husband, Wade, of Rogers, and Morgan Behl and wife, Kristin, of Centerton; two great-grandchildren, Avan Barton and Karis Behl; four stepgrandchildren; one brother, Canard Hodges of Ukiah, Calif.; one sister, Olivie Cole of Perkins, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2-3 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, 2 p.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.

Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery; there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview, Fayetteville, AR 72703.

Pallbearers will be: Randy Behl, Bryce Salsbury, Donald Ledford, Earl Merryman, Tim Cole and Larry Crawley.
