ELKINS — Aremildred Hodges, 75, of Elkins died March 27, 2002, at Elkins. She was born March 29, 1926, in Winslow to James Harvey and Tinnie Mae Orman Shepherd. She was a homemaker and a member of Round Mountain Community Church.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Hodges of Wesley and James Hodges of Lincoln; one daughter, Rhonda K. Hodges Sade of Black Rock; one brother, Alvin Shepherd of Brentwood; four sisters, Mary Martin of Lincoln, Martha Maxwell and Opal Atkins, both of Fayetteville, and Gladys Ward of Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Round Mountain Cemetery with C.H. Doss officiating.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday at Nelson's Funeral Home in Fayetteville. The family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.
