Son of Toney Riley and Emma Nunnely. He was a journeyman plumber for more than 55 years and a member of local 29 Union. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Jo Butler Riley, and his parents.
He is survived by one daughter, Phyllis McCulley, and son-in-law Steven of Scranton; and two grandchildren, Brandon Riley Jones of Hunt and Amanda Jones Shelton of Clarksville.
