Elsies parents were : Walter & Hassie Ruth Pettey Rogers. Elsie was one of 11 children. She 1st md: Raymond Meretens & they had 2 children. Carolyn & Mike. He passed away & Elsie remarried. To Billy M. Garth from Des Arc. Elsie & children moved to Des Arc, from De Valls Bluff in 1956. Elsie & Bill lived there until both of their deaths. They owned the Funeral Home & Hardware store a lot of those yrs.
