ROGERS — Mary L. Musholt, 87, died June 24, 2012, at Mercy Hospital. She was born on Sept. 20, 1924, to the late Carl and Margaret (Hilbing) Spettnagel.
She was the loving wife of 66 years to Clyde Musholt of Rogers.
Mary loved traveling and has been all over the world. She collected scarves from each of the places she visited and had a story to tell with each one. She was very organized and loved working in a secretarial position. She belonged to the St. Mary's Auxiliary and after retiring, Mary and her husband volunteered for the hospital. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, loved interior design and spending time with friends and family.
Mary is survived by her loving husband; son, Lt. Col. USAF Michael and wife, Maureen, of Elkins, Ark.; four daughters, Barbara Jo and husband, Ethan Lightfoot, of Lowell, Katy and husband, Dan, DDS, Leis of Rogers, Kathy and husband, John Ward, of Lowell, Mary Beth and husband, David Matthews, of Lowell, and Dr. Vicki and husband, Dr. Tim Hayes, of Cumberland Center, Maine; three sisters, Carlene Wavering of Springfield, Ill., Marge Harcharick of Quincy, Ill., and Joan Cook of Quincy, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Moore.
A funeral service is planned for Thursday, June 28, 2012, at 10 a.m. in St Vincent de Paul Church in Rogers, with a burial to follow at St. Vincent Cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday in Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers.

Clyde James Musholt, 95, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on September 23, 2019. Funeral services are set for September 26, 2019 at 1 p.m. at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 7:30pm, Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
Clyde was born on March 18, 1924 in Quincy, Illinois to Alois Musholt and Isabel Bohne Musholt. He was the oldest of eight children and married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Mary Lee Spettnagel, on June 13, 1946. They were blessed with six children -- a boy and five girls.
Clyde was a World War II veteran. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy (Class of 1947), and served three years on the U.S.S. Midway aircraft carrier. In 1953, he moved to Rogers as the manager of the Wendt-Sonis manufacturing plant. During his life in Rogers, he served in many capacities for St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, including President of the Church Council and original choir director and organist. He was a past President of the Rogers Rotary Club, a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital, and enjoyed piloting his private plane. He was also a proud father – raising an Air Force pilot, an artist and writer, a bank officer, an accountant, a law professor, and a doctor.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings, Fr. Silas Musholt, Carol Weisenhorn, Annabel Degenhardt, Isabel Schmidt, and Marjorie Bergman. He is survived by his brothers, Stanley Musholt and Frank Musholt of Quincy, Illinois. He is also survived by his children, Mike Musholt, Jo Lightfoot, Katy Leis, Kathy Ward, Mary Beth Matthews, and Dr. Vicki Hayes, and their much-loved spouses, Maureen Musholt, Ethan Lightfoot, Dr. Dan Leis, John Ward, David Matthews and Dr. Tim Hayes. He is further survived by grandchildren, Leeann Roxx, Michael Joseph Musholt, Dr. Valerie Strunk, Jeff Leis, Matt Leis, Tim Leis, Chris Ward, Brandon Ward, Zach Matthews, Dr. Eli Matthews, Lizzie Johnson, Ben Hayes, Ciara Hayes and Aidan Hayes, as well as by numerous great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial gifts be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School, which gave his children their start in life. Condolences may be expressed at Stockdale-Moodyfs.com.
