RENTON, Wash. — Kerry Diane Smallwood Cotton, 59, of Renton, Wash., passed away Oct. 20, 2013, in Renton. She was born Oct. 25, 1953, in Mount Vernon, Mo., the daughter of Richard and Juanita Addiss Knaak.
Kerry was a lab technician at Tyson Foods, which was the Krispy Kitchens in Bentonville and worked there until plant dosed. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Seligman, Mo. Kerry enjoyed sewing, especially making beautiful quilts for her family.
She was a flower and vegetable garden enthusiast, often canning her produce. Kerry loved camping, traveling with her family and friends. Her biggest joy in life was time spent with family. She valued that above all else.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Barry Knaak.
She is survived by her spouse, Tammy Cotton of the home; children, Amy Wynne of Rogers, Rayna Wallace and husband, Larry, of Pea Ridge, and Teddy Smallwood of Seligman, Mo.; two stepsons, Jason and Adam Skelton; three brothers, Leslie Knaak of Goddard, Kan., and Kevin Knaak of Rose Hill, Kan.; Bruce Knaak of Douglass, Kan.; two sisters, Vicki Cardiff and Valarie Robinson, both of Wichita, Kan.; her stepdad, Dick Nance of Wichita, Kan.; grandchildren, Amber and Miranda Wynne, Nicolas Sanders, Andrew Wallace, Samuel Smallwood, Cheyenne Artherton, Alicia, James Jr., Christian, Staci and Eric Skelton; five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Pratt Cemetery, near Garfield.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today, Oct. 24, 2013, at Benton County Funeral Horne, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers.
