SPRINGDALE - Bernarda (Davis) (Lee) Hager, 85, of Springdale, Ark., died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, after a short illness at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark.

Bernarda was a resident of Homestyle Assisted Living Facility in Springdale. Bernarda was born June 28, 1925, in Ochelata, Okla., to Isaac Cresson and Mary Vance (Callis) Davis.

Bernarda worked at the Benton County circuit clerk's office and Benton County Abstract Co. in Bentonville. She was a member of the Centerton Methodist Church and was currently attending Central Christian Church in Springdale.

Bernarda was preceded in death by husband, Bill Hager; three sisters, Iris Pearson, Mildred Davis and Ida Mae Ellis; and one brother, Cress Davis.

Bernarda is survived by one son, William Lee and wife Jeanie of Springdale, Ark.; one daughter, Judy Gannon and husband Bill of Bedford, Texas; three grandchildren, Jeff Cannon, Chris Cannon and Jason Boaz; four great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Sophie, Alyssa and Emma; a niece; and several nephews.

Graveside service will be at the Centerton Cemetery Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Ed Cowan officiating

Visitation will be held at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale on Friday, April 15, 2011, from 7 to 9 p.m.
