Bentonville — Carthal D. Troutt, 61, of Centerton, died Tuesday at the Gravette Medical Center hospital. Born Jan. 1, 1909 at Centerton, he was a toolmaker and owner of the Square Deal Machine Shop, a Baptist, a Mason and a volunteer fireman.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Lillian Hampton Troutt of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Jean Richburg of San Antonio, Tex., and one grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Centerton Frist Baptist Church with burial in Centerton Cemetery under direction of Burns Funeral Home.

PORT ARANSAS, Texas — Lillian Leone Hampton Troutt, 103 years of age, died on Sept. 16, 2011, at Mineola, Texas. Born in Lowell, Ark., to William Joseph and Fronia Atnip Hampton, she was the sixth of eight children. She married Carthal Duncan Troutt on May 6, 1934. To this union was born one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Jean Troutt Richburg. Mrs. Troutt lived in Centerton, Ark., where she was assistant postmaster and a member of Centerton Baptist Church, until her husband's death in 1970. Since that time, she has lived in Texas near her daughter and family.

Lillian Troutt is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dennis Richburg, of Port Aransas, Texas; granddaughter, De'Anne Marshall and husband, Jeffrey, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; granddaughter, Tiffani Lupenski of Portland, Ore.; two great-granddaughters, Alissa and Jenna Marshall of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and many nieces and nephews in California.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, in the Centerton Cemetery, Centerton, Ark., with the Rev. Clifford Palmer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to First Baptist Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 187. 200 N. Station St., Port Aransas, TX 78373.
