Willa Boyle, 83, of Cherokee City, died Friday, Aug. 21, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 5, 1909, at Green Forest to Henry McMorris and Eva Wells McMorris, she had been a lifetime resident of the Cherokee City area. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Cherokee City Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Boyle, in 1989.
Survivors are two sons, Roy and Buck Boyle, both of Gentry; four daughters, Opal Martin of Prosser, Wash., Shirley Wofford of Colcord, Okla, and Ruth Freeman and Frances Putman, both of Siloam Springs; two sisters, Veda Chancellor and Ruby Jenks, both of Gentry; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wasson Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ed Billups officiating. Burial is to be in Falling Springs Cemetery in Benton County.
