Rogers — Joseph Elmer Clayton, 82, died Tuesday in the Rogers hospital. He was born Nov. 5, 1884 in Billing Green, Mo., and was a retired blacksmith.

Survivors are three sons, Earl, Roy and Clifton, all of Joplin, Mo.; two daughters, including Mrs. Alberta Anderson of Tulsa; three step-sons, Raymond Collins, of Tulsa and Chester and Virgil Collins of Rogers; one step-daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Rowland of Vaughn; one brother, W. A. of Boston; and two sisters, Mrs. John A. King of McAlester, Okla., and Mrs. Ida Butler of Porterville, Calif.

Funeral service was to be at 1 p.m. today at Callison Chapel with burial in Rogers Cemetery.
