William H. Gammon, 76, Decatur, died this morning in Gravette Medical Center after a long illness. Born Aug. 10, 1898, in Decatur, he was the son of Richard V. and Susan Noblitt Gammon, was a member of the Methodist Church, a retired farmer and lifetime Decatur resident.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Ellen Gammon of the home; three sons, Earl Gammon, Wichita, Kan., Melvin Gammon, Kansas City, Mo., and Donald Gammon, Layton, Utah; three daughters, Mrs. LaVina Wallace, Anaheim, Calif., Mrs. Norma Jean Pierce, Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Billy Wilbanks, Decatur; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are incomplete, and. will be announced by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Funeral services for William H. Gammon, 75, Decatur, who died Sept. 3 in Gravette Medical Center, will be held Friday at 10 a.m, in Falling Springs Church near Decatur with the Rev. Hillman Byrum officiating. Burial will be in Falling Springs Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Mrs. Nancy Ellen Gammon, 79, Decatur, died Oct. 17 in Gravette Medical Center. Born June 27, 1895 in Benton County, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Riley, a member of Decatur United Methodist Church and the widow of William H. Gammon, who preceded her in death Sept. 3. She was a lifetime resident of the area.

Survivors include three sons, Earl Gammon, Wichita, Kan., Melvin Gammon, Kansas City, Mo., and George Gammon, Layton, Utah; three daughters, Mrs. Lavina Wallace, Anaheim, Calif., Mrs. Norma Jean Pierce, Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Billie Wilbanks, Decatur; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending and will be announced by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
