Funeral services were held at three o'clock this afternoon for Edith Isabel Nance Conine, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Nance. Mrs. Conine passed away at the home of her parents early Sunday morning following an illness of more than two years during which time she put up a gallant fight to regain her health. About two years ago the Nance family went to New Mexico thinking that the mild climate would benefit Isabel's health. Last Thanksgiving Day she was married to Richard Conine of Ardmore, Okla. The young people remained in the west for sometime, returning to Rogers early last spring and until a short time ago it seemed that Mrs. Conine was steadily gaining. Isabel was born and reared in Rogers and attended the Rogers schools and was known and loved by everyone in Rogers. At the time of her death she was 22 years, three months and eight days old. Funeral services were held from the home of her parents this afternoon, the Rev. E.G. Downs officiating. Funeral arrangements were in charge of A.D. Callison and interment was in the Rogers Cemetery.
