ROGERS — Maxine Dale, 83, of Rogers died Oct. 2, 2002, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Rogers to Alonzo and Daisy Hartley Jones. She was a retired beauty operator, a member of the Church of Christ in downtown Rogers and had lived in Benton County most of her life. She was an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles 'Chuck' Stephens and by her second husband, Jim Dale.
Survivors include two sons, John Stephens of Fairfax, Va., and Charles Stephens of Cary, N.C.; one brother, Norman Jones of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ in Rogers with Kevin Maxey officiating.
Burial will he in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Rogers.
