Mrs. Dean Dies In Accident
Car Turns Over In Missouri
Rogers, Ark., Dec. 20-(Special)- Mrs. Virgie Pucket Dean, 68, was killed instantly Saturday afternoon, south of Springfield, Mo., when the automobile driven by her husband, B. S. Dean, went out of control after hitting a wet place on the highway and overturned.
Mrs. Dean's neck was broken when she was thrown against the side of the car. Her husband suffered bruises and shock.
Mr. and Mrs. Dean were returning from Fulton, Mo., atter visiting a sister there, who is in a hospital.
Mrs. Dean, who was born east of Rogers, was the daughter of the late Joe Puckett. The body was returned to Rogers by the Callison-Porter Funeral Home.
Survivors beside her husband include three sons by a former marriage, Joe Preston, Denver, Colo., Carl Preston, Watsonville, Calif., and Everett Preston, Ignacio, Calif.; three stepchildren, Mrs. Doyle Lynn, Patterson, N.J., Mrs. Luther Smith, Eldrid, Ill., and Lew Hutcheson, Mulhall, Okla., one brother, W.A. Puckett of Bentonville and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Temple, Fulton, Ky.
