Marcus J. Mount, 71, died at Maysville yesterday morning. He moved to Maysville from Fayetteville 31 years ago. He was born near Fayetteville.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Bertha Mount; a son, Coats Mount of Kansas; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Peyton of Nevada and Mrs. Joanna Haley of Maysville; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. J. Nolan Moore and Mrs. Myrtle Harris, and a brother, Hugh Mount, all of Fayetteville; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Beulah Mount of Siloam Springs.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Marcus J. Mount, 71, who died Monday at Maysville, will be held there at 10 a.m. tomorrow. A short service will be held at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Comfort Church near Fayetteville and burial will be in the Mt. Comfort cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Frank Dowell, Arthur Ruppel, Hugh Pond, Floyd Paul, Guy Taylor and Sam Moore.
