April 17, 1916 - January 14, 1970
Troy Lee Rogers, 52, of Knights Landing, Calif., formerly of Manning, died Wednesday. He was a veteran of World War Two. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. John Beason, Malvern; a brother, James R. Rogers, El Dorado; two sisters, Mrs. Milton Fenner, Hot Springs, and Mrs. Clinton Johnson, Alabama. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Manning Baptist Church near Sparkman. Burial followed in Delmar Cemetery at Sparkman under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home. (El Dorado Times - January 19, 1970)
