DECATUR — Ronald Wayne Pool, 61, of Decatur, Ark., died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at is home. He was born April 14, 1952, in Big Spring, Texas, the son of Floy Mae Henderson and Cecil Pool.

He proudly served in the United States Army for over 12 years where he obtained an Honorable Discharge. He worked in maintenance for over eight years with Bentonville and Decatur Public schools.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Brandy Pool.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Dolly Pool of the home, whom be married May 1, 1970; three sons, David Pool and his wife, Teena, of Ward, Ark., Matthew Pool and his wife, Lindsay, of Centerton, J. Scott Pool of Decatur; two daughters, April Potter and her husband, Loyd, of Bentonville, Kelle Pool of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, Terry Pool of Decatur; one sister, Rita Scott and her husband, Tommy, of Elm Springs; and 10 grandchildren.

Graveside service will be today, Jan. 25, 2014, at Decatur Cemetery at 2 p.m. with Pastor Terry Horton officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Rogers VFW Post No. 3031.

Memorials may be sent to Circle of Life Hospice, 90l Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
