Joy Petty age 84, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015. She was born June 05, 1930 to William Ken and Minnie Smith Fry in Jackson, Mississippi.
She is survived by her sons, Harold (Martha) Robinson of Jacksonville; Ronald Petty of Benton; Danny (Gaila) Petty of Conway; Daughters, Linda (Eldon) Keathley of Conway; Patsy Story (Merrell) of Greenbrier; and Dana Taylor (Keith) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers William Fry ( Aleta) of Heber Springs; Franklin (Margaret) of Roosevelt; Thomas (Barbara) of Alexander and sister Lona Mae Robinson of Conway, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Floyd Edward Petty, her parents, and brothers, Clarence Fry, Jay Fry, Grover Fry, Charles Fry, daughter Alice Martin, grandson Jeff Robinson, and great-granddaughter Shelby Gray.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 18th at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock with Pastor JN Holmes and Pastor Danny Petty officiating.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.

Floyd Edward Petty, 72 of Conway, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2003.
Born in Scottsville, KY, March 19, 1930 he was the son of the late Thomas Edward and Mary Frances Kinslow Petty.
He was a contractor and owner of Conway Service and Repair. He attended Calvary Apostolic Church and was a recent member of First Pentecostal Church, North Little Rock.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Petty of North Little Rock; five children, David Petty of Conway; Geneva Calvert of Shepherdsville, KY; Danny Petty of Conway; Ronnie Petty of Wrightsville, AR, and Dana Copeland of Conway; four step-children, Harold Robinson, Linda Keathley, Alice Martin, and Patsy Story; a sister, Myrtle Hairston of Bowling Green, KY; 25 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Monday, January 6, at Roller-McNutt Chapel, Conway.
Entombment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home (327-7727).
