Leonard C. Brenske, 88 of Conway, Arkansas, passed from this life on Monday, July 29, 2012. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, he was a son to Domonic Charles and Anna Simalunis Brenske. Leonard will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He was a veteran of WWII, having served as a Merchant Seaman. He was the Food Service Director for Hendrix College until his retirement. Leonard enjoyed ballroom dancing with his wife and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Those preceding him in death are his parents; his beloved wife of 57 years, Doris Brenske and a grandson, Brian Brenske.
Survivors include his son, Charles Brenske and wife Pam of Conway; daughters: Donna Brenske of Conway, Diana Brenske and husband Mike Paladino of North Little Rock, Deborah Brenske of Kenilworth, UT and Kristina Burford and husband John of Conway ; grandchildren: Jay Burford, Anna Grace Burford and Sarah Patrick and husband Toby and one great grandchild, Dominick Patrick.
The family sends special thanks to Jim Lock for his friendship and spiritual guidance.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. Entombment will follow at Crestlawn Mausoleum.

Doris Louise Brenske, age 78 of Conway, Arkansas died peacefully at her home surrounded by family, Saturday November 3, 2007.
She was born, December 12, 1928 in Humble, Texas, daughter of the late Roy and Ruby Blagg.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leonard Brenske. He was a tireless and dedicated caregiver throughout her long courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Survivors also include; one sister Pakali Hamons of Ganado, Texas; five children, Donna Brenske of St. Paul, Minnesota, Diana Brenske of North Little Rock, AR, Charles Brenske of Conway, Deborah Brenske of Kenilworth, Utah, and Kristina Burford of Conway; four grandchildren, Sarah and Brian Brenske, and Jay and Anna Grace Burford all of Conway.
Doris was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved the outdoors and gardening. She and her husband shared a passion for ballroom dancing and could be found on a dance floor almost every weekend.
Services will be held Friday, November 9th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Conway with Rev. Jack Rogers officiating.
