Garland Ray Neil, 81, of Lowell, died Thursday, March 24, 1994, at Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 20, 1912, at Lowell, a son of Earnest B. and Elizabeth Rose Tommie Neil, he was a farmer and a member of First Baptist Church in Lowell. He was the former owner of the Lowell Garage.

Survivors are his son, Joe Neil of Rogers; two daughters, Sharon Easterling of Rogers and Janis Chadwick of Lowell; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Lowell with the Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Burial is in the Rogers Cemetery, under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lowell Parks Department or the First Baptist Church in Lowell.

Gladys Mae Neil, 77, of Lowell, died Sunday, April 4, at Springdale Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 9, 1915, in the Zion Community near Springdale to Joe Ragsdale and Rebecca Lewis Ragsdale. She was a lifetime resident of the area and a member of Lowell Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Ragsdale, and a son-in-law, Rex Easterling.

Survivors are her husband, Garland Neil; a son, Joe Neil of Rogers; two daughters, Sharon Easterling of Little Flock , and Janice Chadwick of Lowell; two sisters, Mildred Bailey of Fayetteville and Emma Minks of Peshastin, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lowell Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Newberry officiating. Burial is to be in Rogers Cemetery. Visitation is set for 4-6 p.m. today at Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers. Memorials may be made to Lowell Fire Department, Lowell Parks Deparment or the Lowell Baptist Church.
