James H. Creech, 86, Rogers, died Sept. 17 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 8, 1891, in Rogers, he was the son of Isaac Melvin and Mary Felty Creech. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rogers, retired businessman, World War I Army veteran and Rogers City Council member for 17 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nora Epps Creech of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Satterfield of North Little Rock and Mrs. Margaret Letteer of Azle, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Baldwin of Rogers and Mrs. Fina Beemblossom of Washington Iowa; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Callison Funeral Chapel in Rogers with the Rev. Ben Rowell and the Rev. W.E. Bland officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Rogers First Baptist Church Building Fund.
