Joe C. West, 54, of Conway passed away Sunday (Oct. 12, 2003) at the Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born October 31, 1948, in El Paso, AR, to Deller Mae Grimes and the late Carl West.
He was a 1967 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. He retired from Carrier where he worked as a metal fabrication supervisor for 35 years. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth K. West; his mother, Deller West; two daughters, Brenda Orr of Houston and Kathy Vaughan of Bigelow; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Ricky West of Conway; two sisters, Ruthie Nguyen of Conway and Regana Millsaps of Olney, TX; three nephews and two nieces.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 15, 2003) at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Conway with Bro. Stan Wallace officiating.
Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Travis Green, Tommy Coleman, Toby Vaughan, Joey Vaughan, Paul West, Tony Tucker and Dewayne Millsaps.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 501-327-7727,
