Jack Eagan

Jackie Ray "Jack" Eagan, 74, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, in Memphis.

Born Nov. 25, 1939, in Saffell, he was an owner and operator of Eagan Manufacturing in Black Rock and was of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sallye Eagan; his parents, Estes and Nona Godwin Eagan; and a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Lin Eagan; a daughter, Shelia Jackson and husband David, Fayetteville; two sons, Richard Eagan and wife Robbie, Black Rock, and Ashley Eagan and wife Susanne, Pocahontas; two stepsons, Jerry Gilliam and wife Deborah, Wake Forrest, N.C., and Kenneth Gilliam and wife Dim, Jonesboro; two brothers, Vernon Eagan and wife Jeannie, North Little Rock, and Buford Eagan and wife Barbara, Walnut Ridge; four grandchildren, Joshua Jackson and wife Whitney, Jenni Russell and husband Ryan, Joe Paul Jackson and Magan Eagan; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral is Thursday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge with Bros. Mark Harris and Jake Guenrich officiating. Burial will be in Oak Forrest Cemetery at Black Rock under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.

Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to The Children's Shelter in Walnut Ridge or the National Kidney Foundation.
