FAYETTEVILLE - Mary Jane Rose, age 77, of Fayetteville, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, in Fayetteville. She was born Jan. 20, 1933, in Kansas City, Mo., to Elmer and Ruby Hickerson Conant. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fayetteville and was in the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. She was an elementary school teacher in Midwest City, Okla., and at Farmington Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Rose; one daughter, Cathie Rose Hotelling and husband, Darren, of Bentonville, Ark.; two sons, David Michael Rose and his wife, Patti, of Nashville, Tenn., and John Thomas Rose and his wife, Eunice, of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Kathleen Fuller and her husband, Harold, of Orange Park, Calif.; one brother, Thomas Conant and his wife, Betty, of North Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren, Erik Rose, Max Hotelling, Madison Hotelling, Timothy John Rose, Kelly Bellar and her husband, Bryan, and Kaylin Winston; and two great- grandchildren, Abigail Bellar and Bailey Bellar.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. There will be a private graveside service at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
