ROGERS — Betty L. Stobbe, 78, of Rogers died June 1, 2004, in McKinney, Texas. She was born Dec. 24, 1925, in Memphis, Tenn., to Robert L. and Fannie M. Cole Tyus. She moved to the Rogers area in June 1977. She was a member of a Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers, the Arkansas Council of the Blind and the Diabetic Support Group at Northwest Medical Center of Washington County in Springdale. Her interests included crocheting and reading. Her husband, Raymond C. Stobbe, died in 1989.

Survivors include one son, David Stobbe and wife Diana of Frisco, Texas; one daughter, Debra Gerhardt and husband James of Chicago, Ill.; one grandson, Kris Kazecki of Flowery Branch, Ga.; one sister, Ann Lightfoot of Deming, NM.

Mass will be held at 2 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Rogers with Monsignor Richard Oswald officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Memorials may be made to Northwest Medical Center, Diabetes Support Group, 601 W. Maple, Suite 603, Springdale, 72764, or the Arkansas Council of the Blind, 4704 N. Cypress, North Little Rock, 72116.
