Pocahontas - Ressie Snow Barnes, 100, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away Friday, Oct. 24.
She was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Aug. 20, 1914, to the late Woodrow "Martis" and Cora Mae Snow.
Ressie is survived by her children, Ramona Pratt of Pocahontas, Maxie (Sue) Barnes of Yorkville, Ill., Ervin (Joan) Barnes of Mesa, Ariz., and Charles (Pat) Barnes of Chicago; son-in-law, Don Ferguson of Archer, Fla.; and many grand-children, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grand-children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; parents; brothers, Luke Snow and Claude Snow; and daughter, Betty Jane Ferguson.
Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at the Taylor-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. 10 a.m. with Jerald Dean officiating. Burial will be at Snow Cemetery in Lawrence County.
