SPRINGDALE - W.C."Bill" Beal of Springdale entered his eternal rest Sept. 11, 2011. He was born May 18. 1923, in Mead, Okla., to John and Mabel Taylor Beal. He married Maxine Thomas on Sept. 6, 1941, in Oklahoma.
Mr. Beal was employed as a heavy-equipment operator in the commercial construction industry. He enjoyed fishing, working on small machinery and took great pride in his yard. He especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one son, Jimmie A. Beal.
He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn and her husband, Angel Guzman, and Sandy Jablonsky, all of Springdale; four grandchildren, Robert Lopez, Margie Lopez, John Lopez and Steven Guzman; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
No services are planned at this time.

SPRINGDALE — Maxine T. Beal, 79, of Springdale died Nov. 17, 2004, at Springdale. She was born July 11, 1925, in Cobb, Okla., to J.H. and Willie Rivers Thomas.
She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one son, Jimmie Beal, in December 2001.
Survivors include her husband, W.C. Beal of the home; two daughters, Sandy Jablonsky and Carol Guzman, both of Springdale; one sister, Mae Dike of Ben Wheeler, Texas; one brother, Jay Thomas of Durant, Okla.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with Scott Williams officiating.
