FAYETTEVILLE - Miles Stanlay Adams, 64, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at his home.

He was born Aug. 15, 1936, in Yuma, Ariz., the son of William and Rosemary Thompson Adams.

He was a retired employee of McClinton-Anchor and a member of Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church, where he served on the board of directors. He was a Marine Corops veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Wilda Gann Adams; two sons, Kelly Loren Adams of Atlanta, Ga., and Kyle Adams and wife Johneese of Fayetteville; two daughters, Kathy Scott and husband Chester of Farmington and Karen Jennings and husband Larry of Fayetteville; one brother, Charles Michael Ellis of Mantua, N.J.; six grandchildren, Jeremey Scott, Courtney Hatcher, Alex Adams, Mason Adams, Laura Allison Jennings, all of Fayetteville, and Addam Copeland of Austin, Texas; four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 12 at Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Cook officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. The family will greet friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 610 E. Emma Ave., Springdale, 72764.
