YELLVILLE — Paul H. Adams, 92, of Yellville died April 30, 2005, at Marion County Nursing Home. He was born Jan. 11, 1913, in Pyatt to John Quincy and Nellie Jane Smith Adams. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Assemblies of God.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Adams; two sons, Jacky Adams and Ricky Adams; one daughter, Virginia Greer, one grandson, Billy Adams.

Survivors include three sons, Bill Adams of Harrison, James Adams of Hiwasse, and Johny Adams of Conway; one daughter, Janis McHaney of Omaha; one brother, Vancil Adams of Yakima, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Adams, 61, Rt. 3, Siloam Springs, died May 20 in Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville. Born Nov. 22, 1915, at Monarch, she was the daughter of Henry and Eliza Yochum Purdom, a member of the Assembly of God Church, a housewife and was employed in the meat department of a grocery store.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Adams of the home; five sons, Bill Adams, Sikeston, Mo., James Adams, Bentonville, Johnny Adams, Conway, Jacky Adams, Springdale and Ricky Adams of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Barry (Virginia) Greer, Nashville, Tenn. and Mrs. Carroll (Janis) McFerrin, Springdale; her mother of Huntsville; three sisters, Mrs. Belle Clark, Wiley City, Wash,, Mrs. Eula Clark, Yellville, and Mrs. Lula Weaver, Huntsville; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. today with the Rev. Don Smothers officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel with Don Shackelford, Barry Greer, Dale Neil, Carroll McFerrin, Ross Lockhart and Wayne Phipps pallbearers.
