DURHAM — Vayle Ronald Lynch left this life on July 10, 2012, after 94 years.

He entered this life on Oct. 22, 1917, along with his twin, Dayle. They were the sixth and seventh of eight siblings born to Charles Hayes and Belle Gray Lynch.

He is survived by Charl Marie Stepp Lynch, who he married on April 22, 1944. They worked side-by-side farming for most of their 68 years together.

Children include Doyle and his wife, Beth, Bonnie Baker and husband, Don, Bobby, and Vonnon Sisemore and wife, Pat. He had four grandchildren: two great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

He was the last survivor of the eight siblings. He left this life assured that the next one would be in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 13, 2012, with Dr. Andrew Hall officiating.

Burial will be at McCord cemetery in Elkins.

ELKINS — Charl Marie Stepp Lynch, 91, of Elkins left her earthly body on July 17, 2014, to join Vayle in the presence of Jesus. She was born Dec. 3, 1922, to Cora Stepp Clark and Redmond Clark.

She was married to Vayle on April 22, 1944. They spent 68 years together working on their farms, hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. In addition to being an avid fisherwoman and hunter, she loved quilting, gardening and working with her flowers. She was an excellent cook and her dishes were always sought at church dinners.

She is survived by four children, Vonnon Sisemore and wife, Pat, of Fayetteville, Doyle Lynch and wife, Beth, of West Plains, Mo., Bonnie Baker and husband, Don, of Fayetteville, and Bobby Lynch of Durham; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Beard's Chapel, with Dr. T.O. Spicer Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in McCord Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel.

There is no scheduled visitation.
