Henley H. Brewer, 83, resident of Durham, died Monday. He was born June 26, 1877 in Lee City, Va. and had lived in Durham for the past 35 years. He was a farmer and member of the Baptist church.
Survivors are the widow, Hattie, of the home; two sons, William A. Brewer of Grand Prairie, Tex., James R. Brewer of Laredo, Tex.; a brother, Jim Brewer of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Dorcas Roseberry of Stockton, Calif., two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were scheduled to be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock in McCord Community Church by the Rev. Noah Robbins assisted by the Rev. Jake Drake. Burial was to be in McCord cemetery under direction of Moore's Chapel.

Funeral services for Henley H. Brewer, who died May 29, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McCord Community Church by the Rev. Noah Robbins and the Rev. Jake Drake. Burial was in McCord cemetery under direction of Moore's Chapel.
Pallbearers were O. C. Brink, John C. Brewer, N. N. Watts, Eldon Smith, Miron Cassidy and Dutch Cassidy.
