Sparkman - Garland Gaston, 71, of here, died Wednesday. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church with burial in the Sparkman Cemetery under the direction of Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. Memorial may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund. He was a retired lumberman. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Juanita Dunlap Gaston; one son, Tommy Gaston of here; one daughter, Miss Wanda Gaston of Camden; one brother, Jimmy Gaston of here and four grandchildren.
