ROGERS — Peggy Ann Pettay, 63, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born Oct. 27, 1950, in Nashville, Kan., to Earl Clarence John Borgelt and Margaret Warren Borgelt.
She had been with Walmart for over 26 years and was currently working in apparel product development. She enjoyed her job and made many friends there through the years.
Peggy was an avid quilter and loved embroidery and cross-stitching. She treasured her family and spent many happy hours cooking and caring for them.
She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Borgelt.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Daniel Lee Pettay; four daughters, Crystal Woodham of Rogers, Staci Pettay of Bella Vista, Ark., Kylie Sutton and husband, Bryan, of Rogers, Erin Pettay of Bentonville; her mother, Margaret Eleanor Borgelt-Snodderly of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two brothers, Jimmy Borgelt and wife, Mary Ann, of Hoyt, Kan., Jerry Borgelt and wife, Linda, of Papillion, Neb.; one sister, Patricia Fritze and husband, Melvin, of Norman, Okla.; and five grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Jan. 21, 2014, at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers, with Jackie Chesnutt and Marshall Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in honor of the "Peggy Borgelt Pettay Memorial Fund."
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
