Anne J. Green, 87, of Searcy, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Searcy Healthcare. She was born July 24, 1924 in Floyd a daughter of the late Burl and Annie Bell Burkett Benton. Anne was a homemaker and a very kind-hearted, generous lady. She enjoyed the beauty of all God's creations and stood true to her faith her whole life. She was a long-time member of the Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
She is survived by her son, Scott Green of Searcy; a grandson, Matthew Green of Denton, Texas; nieces, Teresa Uth of Fayetteville, Linda Palmer of Searcy and Camilia Reed of Garfield, Jeannie Sweezy of Louisiana, Diane Blizzard of Texas, and Kenny Rice of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Harmon Green; 3 sisters, Betty Headlee, Helen Chambless, and Bernice Millsapps.
