February 10, 1885 - August 5, 1966
Chester Franklin Goodman, son of J. J. and Lettice Goodman was born February 10, 1885 at Timbo, Arkansas. He departed this life on August 5, 1966 at the Mountain View General Hospital at the age of 81 years.
He was united in marriage to Nancy Moody on December 17, 1907 in Stone County, Arkansas and to this union 6 children were born. One daughter and one son preceded him in death.
He is survived by one brother, Bill Goodman, of Norman, Okla.; and one sister, Hallie Hawkins of Oregon. He is also survived by the wife of the home in Mountain View; two sons, Tollie Goodman of Mountain View and Orville Goodman of Gustine, California; two daughters, Mrs. Willis Johnson of Timbo and Mrs. Heber Smith of Fayetteville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and a host of other love ones and friends.
He was a Mason and member of the Lindsey Lodge No. 292. He was a member of the Timbo Baptist Church at Timbo.
