ROGERS — Dorothy Elizabeth Hedges, age 90, of Rogers died June 12, 2014, at her home. She was born on June 28, 1923, to the late Forrest and Emma (Rounds) Rowlan.

She was a 1942 graduate of Rogers High School, and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post. 3031 and the Women of the Moose Lodge 1735.

Survivors include her children, Charlotte Primm and husband, Robert, of Wichita, Kan., Linda Farries and husband, Keith, of Midland, S.D., Marsha Abrams and husband, Ken, of Rogers; brother, David Rowlan of Bentonville; sisters, Ruth Short of Bentonville, June Nesbitt of Rogers, Connie McDaniel of Bella Vista; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arnold Darrell Hedges; her son, Charles Wayne Hedges; and a brother, Harold Rowlan.

Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Rogers Cemetery, officiated by Dorothy's nephew. Dr. Randy H. Rowlan.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to First United Methodist Church of Siloam Springs, 325 E. Twin Springs St., 72761.

Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
