J. H. Everett, 72, of Cullendale died at his home Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Everett was born March 22, 1883 in Dallas County, Arkansas, but has lived in Camden most of his working life, where he was an interior decorator. He was a member of the Masonic lodge, and a member of the Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, five daughters, Mrs. Richard Miles of Camden, Mrs. Fay Sullivent of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. James Mason of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Wayne H. Smith of Abilene, Texas, and Mrs. Tressie Langley of Odessa, Texas; four sons, Claude W. and John D. Everett of El Dorado, Earl C. Everett of Cullendale, and Charles L. Everett of Dallas, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Brazeale of El Dorado, Mrs. Virgie Russell and Mrs. Lennie Fortner of Sparkman, and Mrs. Dora File of Mena, Ark.; one brother, W. W. Everett of Sparkman, by 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Proctor's Chapel by Rev. H. Jewell Murry and Rev. A. W. Tanner. Burial will be in Bethesda cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. Active bearers are Kenneth Everett, Charles Moore, James Mason, Delbert Kulbeth, Bobby Ridgeway, and John H. Russell.
